Our specialty is the Class-A office tower but our experience ranges far beyond this specialized vertical market. For example, Winpark is heavily involved in high-end medical facilities and complex parking challenges that prior parking companies were unable to manage.
Our people make up a large part of our expertise. We hire and develop managers with backgrounds from many industries. We look for those willing to work hard but who have experience with all types of counting and control systems. We can pick and choose ideas from industries as diverse as restaurant management to sustainable agriculture management and incorporate them into our parking operations.
For example, Winpark incorporated bar-code technology into our software and projects by studying the transportation and retail industries. Our first bar-code systems were installed in Houston in the 1980s, long before bar-codes became commonplace in the parking industry.
Wide ranging expertise is also reflected in our consulting work in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Central America. Our ideas are working in London, Milan, Shanghai, Panama, Moscow and other cities around the world. Our research and collaborative efforts have extended as far as New Zealand as we looked for different ways to do the things others could not.
Beyond management, Winpark consults on parking facility design, traffic flow evaluations, accounting and control processes evaluation, third-party auditor training, equipment RFPs, recommendations, design and implementation. We work with both private industry and the public sector.
We’ve combined extensive and unique experience with Hines (both internationally and domestically) and the practical expertise of Propark to create a focus that benefits the wide-ranging demands of Class-A properties.
